Before we begin our integrated science/social studies on plants and communities, let’s take some time to activate our prior knowledge about plants. That means think of everything you already know about plants and write it in the comments. If you know, or think you know, tell about some of these things:

Be as specific and detailed in your schema activition as possible so your peers can understand your background knowledge.
Q#1 plants start out as seds.
Q#2 they grow just like humans except they grow a lot faster.
Q#3 plants need water and sunlight to live.
Q#4 some animals need plants to eat like caterpillars.
Plants come from seeds and dirt and you see them in the nature. Plants grow from water and the sun gives them nutrients.plants change from their color and they bloom.plants from the nutrients from the sun and water. Animals use plants to eat and bees gets neater from flowers. People use plants. For decorations and gifts like for baby showers, funerals and more. Yes mostly outside. Good plants are the ones that give you nectar and the ones that are bad are the ones that can hurt you in the rainforest. Plants produce things by water and the sun and soil.my expreice is helping my mom grow plants by the mailbox.
I think plants come from seeds because when you plant the seed in the ground the plant comes out of the seed.I think plants change and grow by getting water and sunlight.

Plants are green and grow in the soil. They have leaves and roots and stems.

But if you give a plant to much water and sunlight it can dry up and it’s roots can drown in the water
This is a test to see if we can post a lot of words that we are typing in the comment section. The kids keep telling me that they write and write and write but when go to hit submit after typing lots and lots of words that the iPad kicks them off and magically erases everything they have written and tells them they have been typing too quickly. Can you believe it? I can’t. There must be some kind of mistake going on in the blog underworld. Can you explain this? I have no reasonable explanation for this rather unusual phenomenon.
I know that plants don’t grow very well in sand and plants dont eat food like cheese burgers or pizza the sun is there food.there are tons of different kinds of plants

Plants come from the rain and sun they grow in the ground. Plants change and grow when they get food and water. Plants need sunlight and food to survive. Animals use plants for food. People use plants for oxegan and food and medicine. Plants can’t grow anywhere they have to grow in certain types of soil. There is no such as bad plants and good plants. Plants produce things by working with their leaves,roots and soil. My experience is growing a garden and helping with the soil and picking the vegetables.

I know that plants need dirt/soil sun and water to grow. Plants and trees help us breath.plants also make places really pretty. Plants come from seeds which grow when you take care of them.how the change is that they bloom and it makes them change as they grow. They eat them and they get nutrients also oxiogen. My experience growing plants is every spring me and my mom plant marigolds and we dothatto remind us of gg my great grandma who passed away in 2007

I think there are some good and bad plants because some plants bees could collect nectar from them.And I think there are bad plants because sometimes when you have them around and they die they make your house look bad in front or back.
