The best sled for the race is a toboggan

I think you could put more than that and be a level 4 reader and there is more than 1 type of good dog

I agree with hollister. this is level 1 effort I think you could add more to make it a level 3 or 4

I think she’s talking about sleds not dogs.

Almost any type of dog can be a sled dog but mixed
beeds make especiall good combinations of endarance.
You wood need a sled, dog harhesses,

I agree with you because the video thing also said the same thing but I think you could add a little more.

The original sled dog was the alaskan malamutes and the siberiun huskies. The things you need to be a musher is a slede, a gangline and you also need a sled bag. The commands the mushers use are hike kissing bee haw easy. You can almost use any type a dog to be a sled dog but the mixed breeds are the best. The 2 comman types of sleds are the tobogyum and basket sled.

It was intresting bcause you get to learn about the iditarod race. I learned that the sled dogs run faster in th snow. I also learned that the person that leads the sled makes a great leader!

The month the iditarod starts is in March. The first woman to win the iditarod was in 1985 and her name is Libby Riddles.

One more sentance, the red lantern is the award for last place.

where did you get that from? was it a book?

I think the dog sled races are very hard to win and take alot of training and work. they must be freezing there and wishing to win.i wonder why it is in alaska
and not somwhere else. maybe they will have it in NY
next year or maybe maine. i wonder how they make fires to stay warm in the snow.i wonder how they get nominated to compete in the dog sled races? do they have a vote or is everyone welcome?

I learned that any kind of dog can be a sled dog.All sled dogs wear fur coats to keep them the right body tempeture and warm.I also learned that sometimes it can be dangerous to be dogsledding in certain types of weather. When one of the sleddogs get tired the other sleddogs sense it.

What I learned about the Dogsled Racing is that the Mushers had to call words like, for instance:Mush,Gee,Easy, and Woah.

The original sled dogs were Alaskin Malimutes and Siberian huskies. They were used by native peoples living in harsh climates in Alaska and northeast siberia for herding and pulling loads.

Maybe u could use more details

Dog Sledding is very famous in Alaska. The two most famous Sleds are the Tobogan and the basket sled. The most famous sled dogs are the Alaskal malamutes and siberrven huskies. Sled dogs prefer cold and snowy weather because it makes them run faster. Mushers use special laughers to tell the dogs to move, turn left and right also to do a left or right u turn.

Dog sledding race

Dog sledding is famous. Each year they race. Mushers get on a sled and the dog pulls them. husky are the name of the dogs.

Not all of the dogs are Siberian huskies. Mushers use other breeds of dog such as Alaskan malamutes, muts and many other breeds.
